Belhaven Scottish Ale boasts an intriguing biscuit malt and caramel flavour, subtle fruitiness with an underlying herbal aroma. All of which complements the modest bitterness.
We are thrilled to announce that this delicious beer has been announced as the Gold Winner at the Monde Selection 2022 Awards & the bronze award at the World Beer Awards 2022! It is said that the true character that makes a Scottish ale shine is the malted barley and we use 100% Scottish barley combined with the finest hops to create a deep copper coloured ale at 5.2%.

Additional Notes: Lots of biscuity malt character from the best quality Scottish malted barley. Crystal malt add toffee and caramel taste and black malt contributes a crisp astringent balance. Challenger and Goldings hops add a fresh herbal and resin hop note as well as a refreshing bitter linger to balance with the sweet malt character.
