Sweetness from the pale and crystal malts and special brewing sugar. Easy to drink but also plenty of flavour. Oh and it's award winning having scooped Champion Beer of Britain in the mild beers category at the 2018 Great British Beer Festival.

excellent choice
excellent beer at a great price , "MILD ALE" is becomming very hard to get. very pleased to know that I can still get it from you.

XX Mild
Great to see this style of ale still available! With its 3 per cent ABV makes it an easy drinking beer, an ideal lunchtime drink. Currently the market generally seems to do dominated with heavily hopped light beers which I find too citrus. Perhaps it’s time for a new generation to discover mild ale? Best served at cellar temperature, not chilled, to savour that malty taste.

In Praise of Greene King XXmild
I actually order XX Mild for a friend who was having difficulty finding his favourite drink anywhere. I gave him a a dozen bottles for his birthday and he was delighted with it and asked me to get him some more which I did. His club house also now stocks Greene King XX mild. He has asked me to order him some more which I will. Unfortunately I am diabetic so only have sugar free drinks.

XX Mild
The Greene King XX Mild, reminded me of the Mild that could be purchased in many pubs in the 1970's & 80's. A pleasant taste and easily quaffable.
