Additional Notes: Sweetness from the pale and crystal malts and special brewing sugar. Roasted aroma and taste comes from the use of black malt. A moderate bitterness with light underlying herbal hop character from the mix of classic copper hops. Easy to drink but also plenty of flavour.

Online purchase. Trying to get into old fashioned beers after growing a little bored with Craft and Hippy ales. This, at 3% is an incredible Mild. I only purchased 5, but will get more. Fruity, malty and certainly has a kick which belies it's ABV. A real treat to find.

This took me back to my younger years. low alcohol content, not bitter, good full flavour, if you liked darkish mild back in the day this may be what you were looking for. Very drinkable and enjoyable. I shall be ordering more of this.
