Aroma: Roasted malt
Taste: Roasted malt, sweet molasses
Malt: Pale, Crystal, Black
Hops: Admiral, Pilgrim, Goldings
Perfect with: Light snacks, savoury nibbles and salads. Even better with a ploughman's lunch!
Additional Notes: Sweetness from the pale and crystal malts and special brewing sugar. Roasted aroma and taste comes from the use of black malt. A moderate bitterness with light underlying herbal hop character from the mix of classic copper hops. Easy to drink but also plenty of flavour.
Contains Malted Barley
A CAMRA Champion Mild of East Anglia 2009, now bottled, this is traditionally a cask mild brewed using dark malt to give a sweet and roasted flavour.
