Greene King Brewery

For more than 200 years, we’ve been brewing beer at the Westgate Brewery in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. We brew a range of popular classic ales like Greene King IPA and Abbot Ale, as well as some modern style beers including Ice Breaker Pale Ale and East Coast IPA, which are still brewed in our art deco brewhouse built in 1938. Our brewery is gravity fed, which means we start with our chalk well water (brewing liquor) at the top of the brewhouse, with ingredients added on each floor.
